Over a hundred children from the “Bubamara” kindergarten in Benkovac eagerly awaited the start of a puppet musical performed by the Poco Loco Theater from Zagreb.
Actors Zrinka Kušević, Maja Katić, Fabijan Komljenović, performed the puppet musical titled ” Goga Millipede” an educational story with lots of music (played and performed live) on a richly illustrated stage.
Where do ladybugs sleep? Who is the queen of insects? How does a butterfly lullaby cocoon babies to sleep? Why don’t ants have time? These and other interesting facts about small forest creatures were told by the three actors through song and dance in the kindergarten auditorium.
Our idea was to introduce the world of tiny forest animals to the youngest and involve them with song and dance in this educational story so that, in addition to the performance, they could learn something about the small beings that live nearby. This musical was created in collaboration with the City Puppet Theater Split and has won numerous awards while touring children’s festivals.
At the end of the show, the arrival of Santa Claus brought the biggest smiles to the faces of the youngest, giving them sweets, and we promised both the children and the educators that we would visit them again next year.
Education and introducing children and youth to the animal world are of great importance to us, and we strive to convey this through collaboration, starting with the youngest, in the world of renewable energy sources.
