Activities
Caring for the residents of the local communities where we develop our projects and renewable energy generation facilities, along with numerous other socially beneficial activities, is one of the key priorities of our corporate social responsibility strategy.
We have been cooperating with the Croatian Red Cross for several years, and through this partnership we visit and support economically disadvantaged residents living near our solar and wind power plants in the areas of the City of Sinj and the Municipality of Gračac several times throughout the year.
We strive to be a source of support for our valued neighbors, especially during major Christian holidays and feast days, occasions that celebrate togetherness, family, and goodwill. Our goal is to help ensure that members of our local communities can welcome these special days with dignity and without additional concerns.
Continuing in this spirit, this year, on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we donated packages containing essential food supplies to residents of Sinj, Trilj, and Gračac. For the Sinj and Cetina regions, we provided enough supplies for 50 aid packages, while in cooperation with the Croatian Red Cross of Gračac, we prepared and distributed an additional 23 packages.
The aid packages provided to local residents contain food items and essential hygiene products.
With our support, Croatian Red Cross employees and volunteers visited the beneficiaries, spent time talking with them, and delivered the aid packages in person. Most of the beneficiaries are elderly people living in remote and often difficult-to-access areas.
With the goal of ensuring a dignified quality of life for all residents of the local communities that generously host our renewable energy projects, we will continue to develop partnerships and initiatives that contribute to this objective. Alongside our valued cooperation with the Croatian Red Cross, we regularly collaborate with parish and local community organizations and support those most in need through a variety of humanitarian projects.
