Children’s joy, laughter, and cheer are the essence of the holidays, and this pre-Christmas season we went to Benkovac, Sinj, and Dicmo for our dose of happiness, bringing along the fantastic theater group Tvornica lutaka (“Doll Factory”), who this year delighted everyone with their play Lara’s Christmas Fairy Tale.
How do we bring back the true spirit of Christmas to families? How do we pull Santa Claus out of despair caused by endless lists of material wishes? Petra Radin and Lara Škrinjar gave brilliant answers to these questions through their amazing roles.
Laughter echoed through the hall of the Bubamara kindergarten in Benkovac, where a crowd of children watched the play, joined by kids from neighboring kindergartens. At the Alka Museum in Sinj and Ante Starčević Elementary School in Dicmo, we spent time with school-aged children.
The kids were thrilled to take photos with Santa Claus after the play, meet the actresses, and get autographs. In return, they rewarded the actors with long and enthusiastic applause!
Encro is proud to participate in promoting the importance of education, culture, and sports among children in the Zadar and Split-Dalmatia counties through various activities and projects, creative workshops, and educational lectures.
